i miss my baby
gone for one night
but it seems like forever
i want to hear your voice
feel your kisses in my hair
i want to sleep
wrapped in your arms
i can't sleep in my own bed
my sheets feel alien
and empty
do you miss me?
are you lying awake in your bed
thinking of me?
will you wake up in the middle of the night
reaching out for me?
it's a good thing this is only for one night
if it were any longer, i think i'd go crazy.
